Share accurate opportunities.
Recruiters must have authority to hire. Publication follows review and can be withdrawn if a listing is unsafe or misleading.
An introduction is not a promise.
Referrals do not guarantee an interview, a job, payment or a personal endorsement. Employers make hiring decisions.
Keep people’s information private.
Use applicant details only for the relevant hiring process. Send a job link instead of submitting another person’s resume.
1. These terms
Project Refer is operated by OutsideIn Private Limited, No. 9, Raheja Mindspace, Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500081, India. These terms apply to your use of the website and its job, application, recruiter-account and referral features. The privacy notice explains our data practices.
When you create an account, submit a job or application, or create a referral link, you must accept the terms presented for that action. The service is intended for adults who can lawfully use a hiring platform. If you act for a company, you must have permission to do so. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate contact details and use an email you are authorised to control. Recruiter sign-in uses private email links and sessions. Do not share them, impersonate another person, transfer access without permission or try to open another account’s data.
A recruiter account groups jobs posted with its verified email. Verification establishes email access, not employment at a company or authority to hire. A company name or email domain does not create a shared company workspace or grant access to other recruiters’ candidates.
You are responsible for reasonable care of your access links and for telling us promptly about suspected misuse. Contact support if you need an account correction, access change or closure.
3. Recruiter responsibilities
Post only genuine opportunities you are authorised to distribute and recruit for. Check the role, company, location, work arrangement, pay where supplied, eligibility, application destination and closing information before submission. Automated extraction creates a draft; you must review it.
Cooperate with hiring-authority checks, keep listings accurate and close jobs when they stop accepting applications. Changes to approved jobs may require another review. Our review is a platform check and is not a guarantee that every statement or outcome is correct.
Use candidate information only for the stated hiring process and in accordance with applicable law. Restrict access, keep it secure, respond to relevant candidate requests and do not sell candidate details or use them for unrelated marketing. You remain responsible for lawful, fair hiring and employment requirements.
4. Candidate responsibilities
Submit your own information accurately and only share links or materials you have permission to use. Do not include confidential third-party information or unnecessary sensitive documents. Check the employer, role, work location, visa and employment requirements before proceeding.
You choose whether to apply and whether to select optional messaging or TigerHire sharing. A referral is not required to apply to jobs accepting applications on Project Refer. Employers control selection, interviews, offers and employment arrangements.
5. Referral attribution
Referral links record how a job was shared. An application submitted through a valid link can retain that link and its earlier referral chain. The record does not establish that the referrer knows, recommends or has assessed the applicant.
Do not submit someone else’s personal information without a proper basis. Prefer sharing the link and letting them apply. Referral attribution does not create a right to a bonus, commission or payment. Project Refer does not administer referral rewards. If an employer runs a separate reward programme, its own rules apply.
We may correct abusive or invalid attribution. Contact support about a disputed link or record; do not manipulate links or submit duplicate applications to manufacture credit.
6. Company websites and ATS applications
A recruiter can choose to accept applications in Project Refer or send candidates to an external company website or ATS. External services have their own terms, privacy notices and application processes.
With a link handoff, Project Refer can record a referral and outbound click. We cannot confirm that an external application was submitted or that someone was interviewed or hired. A link is not an ATS integration, and we do not request ATS passwords for it.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not post scams, unlawful or discriminatory opportunities, misleading company identities or jobs you are not authorised to recruit for.
- Do not charge candidates to apply through Project Refer, ask for passwords or financial credentials, or solicit unnecessary identity documents.
- Do not misuse candidate data, expose private links, harass people, send spam or upload malicious material.
- Do not evade review, access another person’s records, overload the service or probe it in a way that harms users. Report security concerns privately.
- Do not scrape private information or use the platform to build unrelated marketing lists.
8. Your content
You retain rights you hold in the job descriptions, profile information and other content you submit. You give OutsideIn permission to host, format, display and share that content as needed to provide the features you request, including showing public job details and sharing referral links.
This permission does not make candidate applications public. We may remove content that breaches these terms or applicable law. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for material you submit.
9. Review, moderation and appeals
We may request evidence, hold a listing for review, request changes, hide or close a job, or restrict access where there is suspected misuse, a security issue or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the decision and allow you to provide a correction or appeal.
Report a suspicious listing from its job page. For an appeal, email hello@projectrefer.com with the job reference and relevant context. Do not include another person’s private application unnecessarily. We do not promise publication merely because a job was submitted.
10. Privacy and your choices
Read the privacy notice before submitting information. Optional permissions are separate from the basic application. You can request access, correction, withdrawal, deletion or account closure through Your data.
Transactional communications support access, applications and your requests. WhatsApp intake is not active in the service. When optional WhatsApp notifications are enabled, STOP withdraws that messaging opt-in.
11. Service availability
The service is offered without a Project Refer subscription fee. Your own connectivity, carrier or external service charges may still apply. Any future paid feature would need its own clearly disclosed price and applicable terms.
Features may change, require maintenance or be temporarily unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular number of applicants, matching accuracy or hiring results. CV uploads and text extraction are available for supported formats. Suggested details and skill evidence require human review; they do not establish expertise or guarantee suitability. Shared company teams and live ATS synchronization are not part of the current release.
12. Responsibility and legal rights
Project Refer helps distribute opportunities and manage introductions and applications. It is not the employer, an employment agency acting on your behalf or a party to an employment agreement merely because you use the platform.
We take reasonable care in operating the service, but cannot guarantee third-party job information, external websites or hiring decisions. Responsibility for a particular issue depends on the facts and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer or privacy protections. These terms do not require you to waive access to a regulator or a competent court.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using the service, sign out, close your jobs and request account closure or candidate-data deletion. Account closure and candidate deletion have different scopes; we verify the request and explain records that must be retained or handled separately.
Ending use does not remove information already held independently by an employer or ATS. Obligations concerning misuse, privacy, accrued rights and necessary legal records may continue where applicable.
14. Changes, applicable law and contact
The version and date above identify these terms. Material changes will be communicated appropriately, and renewed agreement requested where required. We will not describe an optional feature as already available or treat a new optional permission as previously granted.
OutsideIn is established in India. Applicable mandatory local laws and your statutory protections continue to apply. Contact hello@projectrefer.com to raise a concern or try to resolve a dispute. This contact route does not restrict your lawful complaint or legal remedies.
